Peter Olayinka has expressed delight for his exploits with Czech Republic side Slavia Prague.
The Super Eagles Forward becomes the outright top scorer in Europe, with his goal against FC Ballkani on Thursday.
The goal is Olayinka’s second in the Europa Conference League this season and 13th across European competitions for Slavia Prague.
“I’m really happy about it. It is a great honour to be Slavia’s top scorer in the European Cups,” he told the press.
“I am in Slavia and I am very grateful that I was able to do something like this. Thanks to everybody, I couldn’t have done it without them,” The 26-year-old concluded.
During the qualifiers, Olayinka netted four goals to help Slavia qualify for the group phase.
He added to his tally in their first group game against Sivasspor at the Yeni Sivas 4 Eylul Stadı on September 8.
