It was a frustrating matchday for Kayode Olanrewaju as the Forward played all 90 minutes but failed to make good his chances in front of goal in Gaziantep’s 1-0 defeat away to Alanyaspor in the Super Lig on Saturday.

Olanrewaju, who already had 9 goals this campaign in the league from 22 appearances could not add to his tally.

The only goal of the game came through former Liverpool defender Steven Caulker, who poked the ball in at the near post.

Meanwhile, Olanrewaju registered the most shots on goal (3) during the game.

Gaziantep suffered their 10th league defeat of the season and remain in mid-table.

Their Nigeria striker has enjoyed a decent debut season in the Turkish football after spells in Spain and Ukraine.

He did score a goal in LaLiga during his time with Girona despite making 12 appearances.
