Italian club AS Roma have expressed a strong interest in Ola Aina, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Giallorossi are closely monitoring Aina’s situation at Nottingham Forest, where his contract is set to expire in June 2025.
With just over a year left on his current deal, Aina could become a free agent if Nottingham Forest fail to reach an agreement on an extension.
The 28-year-old defender is currently valued between €12 million and €15 million, making him an attractive prospect for several clubs.
However, Nottingham Forest are reportedly preparing to open talks in the coming weeks in an effort to secure Aina’s future and fend off potential suitors, including Roma.
Aina, who can play both as a full-back and wing-back on either side, previously played in Italy with Torino from 2018 to 2023.
