Okpotu Joins Al-Adalah in Saudi First Division

Nigerian striker Anthony Okpotu has signed with Saudi First Division club Al-Adalah.

Okpotu makes the move from another Saudi club, Al-Ain, where he had an impressive season.

The seasoned forward scored 17 goals in 27 league appearances for Al-Ain last season, finishing as the third-highest goal scorer in the league.

Despite his efforts, Al-Ain narrowly missed out on promotion to the top-flight.

Al-Adalah, Okpotu’s new club, concluded their last campaign in fifth place and Okpotu’s addition is seen as a strategic move to bolster their squad ahead of next season.

The club’s aim is to play in the top-flight division and Okpotu is expected to lead the charge.

In addition, the forward will become the second Nigerian to play for Al-Adalah, following in the footsteps of John Ogu.

Throughout his career, Okpotu has had stints in Kuwait, Qatar, Tunisia, and Morocco, in addition to his notable performances for former club Lobi Stars in Nigeria.
