Despite his solid display, Okoye could not secure a clean sheet as Udinese conceded a last-minute penalty, which Empoli converted to equalize in stoppage time.

Udinese had led for the majority of the match but faltered in the dying moments.

Isaac Success, who recently ended a year-long goal drought, made a cameo appearance, playing the final seven minutes but was unable to find the net.

This draw leaves Udinese’s Serie A survival in jeopardy.

They sit 17th in the standings, just one point above Empoli in 18th position.

To ensure their safety, Udinese must secure a victory against 15th-place Frosinone on the final matchday.
