President of the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo has congratulated Chairman/CEO Brila media, Dr. Larry Izamoje after been recognized by the World Boxing Council.
The Foremost Sports Entrepreneur, Dr. Larry Izamoje, who founded the first Sports Radio Station in Africa in 2002 was yesterday named as a distinguished Ambassador of the World Boxing Council (WBC)-Cares.
while reacting, Ladipo said the recognition is a well deserved one considering Dr. Larry’s exploit and passion he has for Boxing.
In a related reaction, Former Nigerian boxer and now National boxing coach, Jeremiah Okorodudu has also congratulated the Veteran Journalist over the latest recognition handed him as a WBC Ambassador.
Okorodudu said Dr Larry Izamoje has shown immense passion and various form of support to boxing all through the years at both the Amateur and professional level.
According to the former Boxer, Dr. Izamoje is worthy of every recognition he gets due to his commitment and passion to boxing and sports in general.
The WBC World Boxing Cares initiative consists of a world campaign in which boxing personalities, especially world champions, visit children’s hospitals , orphanages and youth centers, to encourage them to keep up the fight.
