Former coach of Nigeria’s women football national team Super Falcons Edwin Okon has questioned the rationale behind the appointment of another foreign manager American Randy Waldrum as coach of the African champion despite the pool of coaches in Nigeria.
Okon who also applied for the Falcons coaching job speaking in a chat with www.brila.net expressed resentment at the neglect of coaches in Nigeria by the Nigeria Football Federation to lead the main national team stressing that the colours here is what the football Federation continue to consider.
He added that the incoming coach should have been a top shot for his country as well if he was so good.
