David Okereke was on target for Cremonese against Hellas Verona at the Stadio Giovanni on Sunday.

Okereke scored the opening goal for Cremonese against their relegation rivals, but it was not enough to guarantee a win as the visitors equalized in the second half to share the spoils.

Following the goal, the 25-year-old striker took his goal tally for the campaign to six and joined compatriot Cyriel Dessers on the list of players with most league goals for the team this season.

Okereke was replaced by Felix Afena-Gyan in the 70th minute, while Dessers  came on for Daniel Ciofani.

Cremonese remain 19th on the table, seven points away from safety with six matches to play.
