Nigerian goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke has addressed the unexpected termination of his contract with Sudanese club Al Merrikh SC, just six months into his two-year deal.
The club confirmed the news on their official Facebook page, stating:

The announcement shocked the NPFL community, where Olorunleke is well-regarded. Reports suggest that his time at Al Merrikh was fraught with challenges, including subpar training conditions and clashes with coaching staff.
Despite the setback, Olorunleke maintained a positive outlook. Responding to a comment on the club’s post, he wrote confidently:
“E go loud my guy no worry. Dem go know say grace no be anybody mate,” implying that his career is far from over.
However, when approached for further details about the termination, the goalkeeper declined to elaborate. “Sorry, I don’t want to talk about this now, thanks.
Before his stint in Sudan, Olorunleke was a standout performer for Enyimba FC, playing a pivotal role in their historic ninth NPFL title win.
His sudden exit from Al Merrikh has raised speculation about his next move, as fans hope to see him return stronger and potentially regain his place in the Super Eagles squad.
The coming weeks will be crucial for Olorunleke as he begins the next chapter of his football journey.
