Plateau United made a light walk of visiting Sunshine Stars by thrashing them 3-1 in the matchday 16 of NPFL game in Jos.
Plateau United went in front early as the seventh minute through Oche Ochowechi, who fired a shot into the bottom left from the edge of the box.
Abdul Maikaba’s side doubled their lead in the 21st minute through Mustapha Yuga’s well taken penalty after Sunshine Stars defender Olawale Abisoye committed a foul in the box.
The goal was Yuga’s fourth of the campaign since returning to the side from his loan spell in UEA few weeks ago.
Things went from bad to worse for the Owena Whales as Uche Onwuasonaya finished easily from a team move to make it 3-0 for the hosts.
