Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Enugu Rangers Gbenga Ogunbote has stated been relieved to have seen the Flying Antelopes over the line in group A of the NPFL table to qualify for the Super six which is the next phase of the league achieving the feat with two games to spare in the regular season.
Ogunbote speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the qualification eased things up already for his side and brought relief to everyone in the team.
He added that finishing well and in good time has always been the target and now that they have this out of the way.
They can now focus on getting set for the Super six and wouldn’t really have so much problem negotiating their way through the Super Six.
“It’s a good one for the team, it brings some kind of relief to the team. That has been our aspiration, striving to get the Super six has been our target.
And we thank God we have gotten this. I really appreciate the players to have done that and when we get to the Super Six, we know how to cross the bridge.”
Enugu Rangers with two games to go will have an only top spot to fight to keep and this will be achieved with a win in the remaining two games.
