Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Sunshine stars Gbenga Ogunbote has expressed delight after his team picked their first away win of the season in far away Uyo against Dakada FC and believes the result is a compensation for the team’s futile effort in previous away games where they have lost by the narrowest of margin.
Ogunbote speaking in a chat with brila.net said the important thing at this point is for the team to concentrate on picking more points on the road and consolidate at home without which the hard work put in to achieve this would have been wasted.
“Feel excited because we have been on the road twice before now and we lost the two 0-1 and I think this one is a compensation. The important thing is we want to concentrate on our own if we can get points on the road and consolidate at home then we will be able to go places.”
