Remo Stars boss Daniel Ogunbodede says the team remain on course to winning the league title despite playing draw with Enyimba in Super six opener.
The Sky Blue started their playoff campaign with a 2-2 with record Champions Enyimba in Lagos on Saturday.
The first half ended without a goal, but both side came out gun blazing in the seconf half, to the delight of the fans.
Ogunmodede however congratulated his team for good performance, insisting they are still on course for their first league title.
“My players were warriors. We know we played against the best club in the country by record, by achievement by what they have done in football in the country,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“But we knew what to do to match them with our tactical process, we took the fight to them, we gave them a lot of respect but not fear.
“It’s not the appropriate result we wanted because we came for the three points but it’s good that they did not take all the three points from us.”
Next for Remo Stars is defending Champions Rivers United on Monday.
