OGC Nice boss, Francesco Farioli, says Terem Moffi is working hard to return to full fitness after missing last weekend’s league game.
The 24-year-old sustained a hamstring injury in preparation for OGC Nice’s weekend clash against Le Havre.
Moffi, a key player for both OGC Nice and the Nigerian national team, is facing uncertainty regarding his participation in the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
In a pre-match briefing, Farioli addressed the media, shedding light on the Player’s current status.
“We will try to get him. Today he will train with the team; we will see how he reacts,” Farioli stated. “We hope to get him back but we won’t take any unnecessary risks.
“If the player feels like it, he will be in the game, otherwise, we will do without.”
