Nigeria and Sand Eagles player Emeka Ogbonna has rued Nigeria’s disappointing end at the ongoing FIFA Beach soccer world cup in Paraguay after the team fell to a third straight defeat losing 12-2 to Brazil.
Ogbonna said in a brief chat with www.brila.net that it was a very big shock to have lost by such a margin to Brazil having been thrashed earlier in the group opener by Portugal.
He added that the team is not happy about this.
“It was a big shock to have lost the game to them like that. And it’s a very painful one for us and we are not happy about it.”
