Ighalo arrived the camp on Monday afternoon and took the number of the players in camp to six.
The 32-year-old is one of the most in form Super Eagles forwards at the moment — having scored eight goals in seven matches for the Asian Champions.
He also scored twelve goals in eighteen appearances for Al-Shabab, before leaving for Al-Hilal in January.
Coach Austin Eguavoen will be banking on the forward and Victor Osimhen to get the goals for the Super Eagles against the Black Stars.
The Super Eagles and Black Stars will slug it out for one of the five tickets available to Africa for Qatar 2022.
The Black Stars will host the first leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi in Friday, while Super Eagles will host the reverse fixture in Abuja four days later.
