Odemwingie Graduates from the Professional Golf Association

Ex-Super Eagles Forward, Osaze Odemwingie has graduated from the Professional Golf Association.

The 42-year-old, who retired from football in 2018, expressed his love for the game of golf and pride in his recent achievement.

“It’s a long journey. I fell in love with the game and played lots of pro-ams as an amateur. Coming from a football background, I had a decent career in a team sport.

Now, in golf, it’s different. Sometimes it can be lonely, just you and your caddie, if you have one. But the PGA itself feels like a family,” Odemwingie said.

He added, “It’s motivating to be around people who have the drive to achieve and get this badge on their chest. It’s inspiring because we learn so many life skills that, even at my age, are still very beneficial.

“It has made me a better person in general, not just in coaching.”

Osaze Odemwingie earned 62 caps for Nigeria and scored 11 goals during his football career.
