Former Nigeria international and coach Henry Nwosu has backed the newly appointed coach of Nigeria’s U17 national team Fatai Amoo to deliver with the Golden Eaglet of Nigeria because of his expanse knowledge of grassroots football.
Nwosu who handled the Nigeria U17 team back in 2009 before been replaced by John Sam Obuh said in a chat with brila.net that having an Amoo to tinker the team will help to raise a generation of young and enterprising Nigerian footballer.
He added that he believes the team will do well under the stewardship of the former U23 Dream Team Assistant coach.
