This clash, scheduled for Friday, is the stand out fixture Matchday three of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership Playoff.

Rivers Angels, currently undefeated in the Super Six, are aiming to reclaim their winning momentum following a goalless draw against Nasarawa Amazons.

Lagging two points behind the league leaders, Bayelsa Queens, the Angels are eager to secure a victory after drawing 0-0 with them in their initial Super Six fixture.

Their lone triumph in the Super Six came in a hard-fought 2-1 win over Edo Queens, courtesy of first-half goals from Florence Alexander and an own goal by Valentina Uroko, with Emem Essien netting for Edo Queens.

Noteworthy contributions from Florence Alexander and Regina Otu have proven pivotal for the team, both defensively and offensively.

On the opposite end, Confluence Queens have managed one win out of three Super Six matches, securing a 2-0 victory over Heartland Queens with goals from Merit Offor and Fernami Odutade.

However, they suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat against Edo Queens and a 2-0 loss to Bayelsa Queens. Merit Offor and Fernami Odutade emerged as key figures in their triumph over Heartland Queens.
