Confluence Queens Head Coach, Whyte Ogbonda is heading for a collision course with the Owners of the club after a rant against what he termed Management interference with his job.
Ogbonda in a post-game presser shortly after home draw against league Champions Rivers Angels in Lokoja this week criticized the club’s Management.
“The management should stop interfering in my job. If they don’t want me at the club, its a simple thing, let me know.
“My pedigree is there for all to see and with interference, no good result will be achieved,” He was quoted in an article published by TobexSports.
“I am not afraid of being sacked as I want the good of the club and the management most corporate with me to be in charge to achieve this aim.”
He added that no professional coach will allow such interference from any quarter and wants the management to low him do his job.
“I train and condition this players and know them better technically,” He said.
The former Rivers Angels and Ibom Angels coach guided Confluence Queens to a second place finish in the over all log table with a place in the final at the 2019 Super 4.
