Kano Pillars striker Nyima Nwangwa has expressed delight after helping his side secure a point away to Heartland FC following Wednesday’s 1-1 draw at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.
Nwangwa show scored his side’s only goal in the game said he feels really happy to have been at the center of the team’s turn around after a poor start to the season and believes the result is one that shows that Pillars are now well on course for a revival having gone the last 5 matches unbeaten.
“I’m very happy because it got us another away point and we are unbeaten in the last 5 matches, so we are on course. And we are trying to end it well at least before 10 matched more to this time, things would have entered very well for us.
We just want to take each game at a time, we just want to be scoring and winning matches so that we can go out of that position that we are.”
