Kelechi Nwakali helped his Dutch Eerste Divisie side MVV Maastricht, fight back from a two-goal deficit to earn a point on Friday at the Stadion De Geusselt against FC Emmen.
Nwakali, 18, who is on loan from Arsenal FC, provided an assist for his side’s first goal in the 78th minute.
On the 87th minute Joeri Schroijen struck for the hosts to complete the come back.
The Yong Nigerian midfielder was shown a yellow ( his third of the season ) with two minutes remaining in the game, but the teams will eventually settle for a share of the spoils.
Friday’s game was Nwakali’s 26th appearance of the season for the Dutch club, who are seeking qualification to the top flight.
