Rivers United forward Rafiu Ishaq is relishing his debut invitation to the Super Eagles.
Ishaq is the leading scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League this season with 14 goals with 3 assists.
The form earned the Player a place in the Salisu Yusuf’s squad for the friendly against Ecuador and Mexico.
“I’m excited to be called up to the Super Eagles squad for the friendly games versus Mexico and Ecuador,” the forward said reacting to his call up. “For me, this is a dream come true and a rare opportunity to wear the colour as well.”

The three-time African champions will clash with Mexico at the AT & T Stadium in Dallas on 28th May, before flying to New Jersey to tackle Ecuador at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison on 2nd June.
