NPFL top Scorer, Odey joins Swiss club FC Zurich on a 4 year deal

According to several reports, FC Zurich has reached an agreement with MFM for the signature of their striker and NPFL leading goal scorer, Stephen Odey in a deal worth €300,000 for four years.

Officials of the Swiss club, FC Zurich met with the representatives of MFM FC on Thursday to finalise a move for Odey.

Stephen Odey, has joined Swiss side FC Zurich after passing a medical at the club on Thursday, Brila.net has confirmed.

The payment is said to come in batches, the NPFL club will receive a part payment of 75% in the next ten days while the remainder will be released in December.

Odey becomes the second Nigerian player to switch clubs on deadline day after Kelechi Nwakali’s move to VVV Venlo was confirmed by Arsenal.
The Nigerian B team striker who scored 18 NPFL goals departed the shores of the country on Wednesday night after training with his MFM FC teammates earlier in the day.
The 19 year old signed a four year deal at the club and will earn a  $8,000 a month at the club, it also gathered.
He is expected to be unveiled by the club today, Stephen has scored 18 league goals this season for the Olukoya Boys.
