The Federation International Football Association (FIFA) has lifted its transfer ban on Nigeria Premier Football League side Katsina United, allowing the club to register new players.
The ban was originally imposed due to a pay dispute with former player, Mohamadou Souley Salamoun.
FIFA’s decision came after Salamoun confirmed the receipt of his outstanding salaries from the club.
With the ban lifted, Katsina United have already bolstered their squad by signing four new players and are expected to bring in more additions before the new season begins.
The Chanji Boys will kick off their campaign with a match against Plateau United.
