Nigeria’s club contingent in CAF Confederation Cup were all handed tricky ties in the play-off draw conducted on Wednesday in Cairo, Egypt.
Enyimba will head to South Africa, where they face Bidvest Wits while Akwa United square up against Sudanese side El-Hilal.
For the duo of Plateau United and MFM FC – who failed to progress in the CAF Champions League, they were drawn against USM Alger and Djoliba AC de Bamako respectively.
The first and second leg ties will be played between 6th and 18th April.
Winners from the CAF CC play-off round will then be grouped and proceed to the competition proper.
