Rivers Hoopers have secured their place in the quarter-finals of the 2024 Nigeria Premier Basketball League following their victory over Abia Comets.

The game, held on Wednesday, saw the Hoopers dominate with a final score of 94-50, recording their fourth win in the tournament and solidifying their ticket to the last eight.

The Hoopers took control early, ending the first quarter with a 26-13 lead over the Comets. By halftime, they extended their advantage to 57-25.

The third quarter saw the Hoopers further their lead to 76-42 before sealing the win with an 18-6 performance in the final quarter.

With three games remaining, the Rivers Hoopers are now poised to compete for the league championship.
