Wilfred Ndidi played forty-five minutes of Leicester City’s first match in pre-season, but his teammate Ahmed Musa was an unused substitute.
Leicester City came from behind to defeat West Brom 7-6 on penalties after the sides played 1-1 in full time.
Ndidi started for the Foxes in the Premier League Asia Trophy match in Hong Kong. The pre-season competition also have Liverpool and Crystal Palace challenging in it.
While his Nigerian teammate saw fourty-three minutes in the scorching heat inside the Hong Kong Stadium, Ahmed Musa was seated on the bench despite Shakespeare making ten changes including new signings Harry Mcguire and Vincente Iborra – Only three players were unused.
Musa posted Leicester City’s trip to the Far East on Instagram earlier this week, but the 24-year-old had suffered for game time since Leicester City changed Managers in February.
Since February 22, the winger has only featured for Leicester three times, a total of fifty-eight minutes in 17 matches in all competitions.
