Sacked D’Tigers Assistant Coach, AbdulRahman Mohammed has no regrets picking Club over Country following the Kida-NBBF decision to sanction teams [including all persons] taking part in the Premier Basketball League on the grounds of a breach of its status quo.
On Thursday, the Federation said it had made slight changes to the coaching crew of the the Senior Men and Women’s national team.
Abdulrahman and Adewunmi Aderemi were both replaced, likely due to their participation in the ongoing premier league despite a forewarning by the Kida-board.
Reacting to his sack, the Gombe Bulls Coach told Brila.net that he wouldn’t be “pressured” into leaving his current position at the club or be caught in the “web of politics” in the sport at the moment.
Dominic Okon and Ogoh Odaudu were immediately named as replacements for the sacked D’Tigers Coaches.
