In an unsurprising turn of events, the Nigerian club Bendel Insurance has been eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup after suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat against RS Berkane at the Berkane Municipal Stadium.

The match, which took place Friday night, and the tie concluded with a 3-2 aggregate score in favor of RS Berkane after an initial 2-2 first-leg draw at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

Despite their best efforts, Insurance was unable to secure the necessary result, marking the end of their journey in the continental tournament.
