Super Eagles defensive midfielder Ramon Azeez was left on the bench for the entire duration, as Granada bow to Athletic Bilbao 2 – 0 in the Spanish Language Liga game on Sunday.

Granada were unlucky to the leave the San Mames without a point in a game that saw referee Adrian Cordero Vega (Spain) issued nine yellow card to players.

Raul Garcia converted a 41st minutes penalty to put the home side in front and with few minutes left in the game Yuri Berchiche made it 2 – 0 to send 37974 spectators into rapture.

The defeat leaves Granada in 10th position with 21 points from 15 games.

Azeez has featured in almost all Granada’s game this season and has two league to his name this season.
