The Nigeria National League has sealed a 3-year deal worth ₦200million with Sports betting company, Bet9ja which comes into effect this season.
Explaining the finer details of the agreement, CEO of the NNL, Bukola Olapade told brila.net that it was a important valuation of the League division from zero percent to ₦200million.
Based on the breakdown of the figures, clubs that play all thirty league matches in the NNL will get ₦12million from the yearly disbursement from Bet9ja.
However, Olapade insists the clubs will benefit more from sponsorship as the league grows and revenue grows.
He said ‘we are excited with this deal, and the potentials of this opening doors to more sponsorship opportunities.’
