Peace Efih Stars as OFI Crete Crush Trikala 7-0 in Greek League

Nigeria’s Peace Ewomazino Efih was on target as Greek Division A side OFI Crete hammered Trikala 7-0 in a dominant league performance on Sunday.

The win marks OFI’s fourth straight victory since their loss to Asteras Tripolis.

The match began with Vasso Kydonaki opening the scoring in the 16th minute, followed by Nikola Rybanska’s quick strike three minutes later to make it 2-0.

Efih extended the lead in the 58th minute, netting her second goal of the season, before Aqsa Mushataq made it 4-0 in the 68th minute.

Valeria Koutsouri converted the fifth goal in the 79th minute, and Rybanska and Mushataq completed the rout, scoring two more goals in the final stages to seal the 7-0 scoreline.

Efih, who joined OFI Crete from Portuguese club Braga, has now scored twice in the league this season. OFI Crete currently sit in second place in the standings with 15 points from six matches, just three points behind league leaders AEK Athens.

The team will travel to face Panathinaikos for their next match on December 15, 2024.
