Assistant coach of Nigeria’s men basketball national team D’Tigers Odaudu Ogoh has stated that Nigeria has come of age in basketball to be scared or worried about potential opposition ahead of the fast-approaching Olympic games in Tokyo.
Ogoh speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said all that is needed to get the D’Tigers in shape will be the level of preparation executed to put the team in shape.
He stressed that with top-level preparation, the D’Tigers can give anyone a run in competitive games.
“Nigeria has come of age as regards basketball, and there is no team that Nigeria will be scared of right now. it’s just for us to get our acts together pick the best that we can. Have quality time to prepare and we can give any team a run for their money and hopefully make further progress.”
