Nigerian Midfielder Seeks Juventus Exit

Super Falcons star Jennifer Echegini has expressed her desire to leave Juventus, citing challenges in adapting to Italian football, according to a report by Tuttojuve.

Echegini joined Juventus in January and made an immediate impact, scoring ten goals and providing two assists in fourteen matches.

Her impressive performance earned her a spot in the Serie A Team of the Season and the title of best U-23 player in the Italian top-flight.

Additionally, Echegini was honored with the MVP award for the best Under 23 player in the women’s Serie A.

Before her stint with Juventus, Echegini started her youth career at Arsenal and had brief spells with two clubs in the United States.

Juventus are reportedly open to selling the Nigeria international for around €150,000.

She was also part of the Nigeria women’s team that reached the Round of 16 in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
