Sports Minister, Sunday Dare has given kudos to wrestler Odunayo Adekuoroye after sealing her spot at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Adekuoroye sealed the spot at the ongoing World wrestling championship in Kazakhstan.

Needing a last four appearance to get it done, the Nigeria wrestling poster girl did not disappoint as she defeated Sun Jong of North Korea 12-2 via technical Superiority.
The minister said “Congratulations to Odunayo Adekuoroye, that’s a feat we are all proud of and you can be sure other sports will get priority attention as against the sole focus on football.”

The Nigerian wrestler though lost her semi-final fight and will now try to finish on a high in the third place fight.
