CD Tacon have been knocked out of the Copa de la Reina, and the hopes of their Nigerian Defender Osinachi Ohale to win a silverware in her debut season with the club have been dashed following a 2-1 defeat to Athletico Bilbao.
The quarter-final ouster for David Aznar’s side means their focus will now turn completely to the Primera División Femenina.
Osinachi started the game but the defensive stalwart could not stop her side from crashing out at the Instalaciones de Lezama.
The Nigeria picked up a knock with just over half an hour played and she was subbed off for Brazilian Daiane.
Garazi Gimbert scored a brace for Bilbao, either side of Jessica Martinez’s 45+3′ goal for the visitors.

Heading into the game, Athletico Bilbao were on a five-game unbeaten streak, while their visitors, Tacon, were coming off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Levante in the league.
