Eight teams are now set to compete for the right of reaching the FIBA AfroBasket 2017 Semi-Finals.

Who will prevail and which teams will go home on Thursday, September 14?

NIGERIA v CAMEROON
As the defending champions Nigeria currently sit as the highest ranked African team in the FIBA World Rankings while Cameroon come in seventh place among the 24 ranked African teams.

At first glance, defending champions Nigeria look stronger and favourite to advance to the semis.

Both teams reached the Last Eight with a similar 2-1 record.

Nigeria opened their Group A with wins over Côte d’Ivoire and Mali, but were unable to overcome a resilient Congolese team.

Cameroon, meanwhile, opened their Group C campaign with a defeat against hosts Tunisia but bounced-back with two wins over Guinea and Rwanda.
