Cameroonian football legend, Roger Milla has forecasted an intense round of 16 clash between Cameroon and Nigeria at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Milla recalled the historical encounters between the two teams, highlighting Nigeria’s elimination of Cameroon at the quarter-final stage in 2004 and the Round of 16 in 2019 AFCON editions.

Despite previous successes against the Super Eagles, the former Forward refrained from making predictions about the outcome of the upcoming match.

“It’s going be an intense game. It’s a game between two brothers who know each other very well,” Milla said on RTI.

“It’s difficult to predict who is going to win the game at the moment.”
