Nigeria’s opponent, Algeria Women National Team arrived at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena,Thursday, and held their first training session ahead of their double-header friendly matches.
A total of 22 invited players and the coaching team and the assigned Team manager, Aduke Rukayat Balogun arrived at the stadium on Thursday evening.
They arrived shortly after the Super Falcons held the second session of their training and the final one before traveling to Ikenne for the first leg of the friendly match.
The team, led by their head coach, Farid Benstiti had a light training session. They are expected to hold another session one and most probably the final one.
Both teams are expected to the present and go head to head on Saturday, 26th of October for the first leg of the friendly game at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State.
Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade is optimistic about the new players called up for the friendly matches against Algeria, saying everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves on the international stage.
