Nigeria U20 WNT, the Falconets, will face Benin Republic for a place in the final of the U20 Women’s WAFU B Championship in Ghana.

The Falconets wrapped up their Group stage campaign with a 3-0 win over Burkina Faso on Sunday.

Opeyemi Ajakaye scored twice and Sebastine Flourish added the last goal for the win at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.

The Falconets scored 15 goals in three games; thrashed Togo 6-0, outclassed Niger 7-0 before beating the Burkina Faso 3-0.

Forward Opeyemi Ajakaye contributed six of the goals, and she leads the tournament’s goal scorers chart.

The Falconets will face Benin Republic on Wednesday, while Burkina Faso plays Ghana for a place in the final.
