Nigeria still focussed on winning more medals in Athletics – Adeleye

Technical director of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Sunday Adeleye has stated that the Nigerian track and field athletes are still focussed on more medals for Nigeria despite having posted a good enough outing so far.

Adeleye speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the athletes who are still on course have also been working just to ensure they also win medals so they can also win medals like others who have medals to show for their effort so far.
He added that the AFN are therefore hopeful of more Gold medals.
“We’re still staying focussed, we are still focussed on winning more Gold and we are counting as well and the coaches are also in the right frame of mind too. The athletes are actually working themselves out too because nobody want to come back without a medal.”
