Peseiro’s side will go into the game without Ekong, who sustained a groin injury during the qualifying game against Sierra Leone. “Troost-Ekong is not here, but I have other players, I have other centre-backs,” Peseiro told a press conference on Sunday “Of course we want to improve our defensive process. We should be able to play a good centre-back,” He said. Since taking charge as Nigeria’s head Coach, Peseiro’s men are without a clean sheet in three games, conceding five goals in the process.
