Ikechukwu Ezenwa is not guaranteed a place in the Super Eagles when they camp in Corsica later in June, but, the FC IfeanyiUbah Goalie is keen to see the three-time African champions secure a place at next year’s FIFA World Cup.
Ezenwa, who has kept his place as third choice goalkeeper in the Eagles under Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr is facing tough competition for that spot as revealed by Chief Coach, Salisu Yusuf.
Nonetheless, the 28-year-old is looking ahead to the remaining world cup qualifying matches.
Ezenwa told brila.net that Nigeria’s qualification depends on how “serious the team takes each game” and believes the result from the double header against Cameroon could be crucial.
