The Falconets, on Wednesday, recorded a 3-0 semi final win over neighbors Benin Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. The Falconets had a good start and went in front on 21st minute through Amina Bello. Midfielder, Esther Onyenezide on the 32nd minute doubled the lead from the penalty spot after Sebastian Flourish was brought down in the box. Onyenezide completed her brace and sealed the remarkable win for the team in the 62nd minute. Nigeria’s Falconets will confront Ghana’s Black Princesses in the final of the competition this weekend. The Nigerian team has scored 19 goals in the tournament without conceding any.
