Nigeria Beach soccer team now 21st in World

Nigeria’s Beach soccer national team who finished second place at the just concluded Copa Lagos has moved up one place to 21st in the world and retained 4th position in Africa in the latest Beach Soccer world ranking released by Beach Soccer Worldwide today.

Nigeria had dropped to the 22nd spot in the world and two places in the CAF ranking to 4th in September.

 

The Super Sand Eagles recorded two wins against England and Brazil but lost to African champions Senegal at the COPA LAGOS which serves as preparation for the Beach Soccer world cup in Paraguay.

 

Nigeria sand Eagles will be making her 6th appearance at the 2019 Beach soccer world cup and will play Brazil, Oman and Portugal in group D.
