The Super Eagles have managed just three points from four games, leaving them fifth in Group C and under immense pressure to revive their World Cup hopes.

Speaking with Brila.net, the former Super Eagles trainer said he was “optimistic” of a good outcome from the encounter.

Currently sitting in 5th place with just 3 points, Nigeria take on joint table leaders Rwanda, who have 7 points, hoping to revive their chances.

Reacting via his X handle on Wednesday, Wizkid praised the positive atmosphere surrounding the team under Chelle’s leadership.

Failure to qualify for the 2026 World Cup would be a huge blow for the team, especially after missing out on the 2022 edition.

The Super Eagles have struggled in their previous matches, recording three draws and one loss in their first four games.
