Former NFF Board member, Ayodeji Tinubu has finally been laid to rest, the final burial service was held for the late Special Adviser to Governor Ambode in Lagos.
Tinubu, who passed away last Thursday after slumping during a novelty football match in Epe, Lagos state was, until his death, Special Adviser Commerce and Industry to the Lagos State Governor Akinwumi Ambode.
Deji Tinubu was also formerly SA to Governor Ambode on Sports and Chairman Lagos State Sports Commission.
The astute sports administrator cum sports analyst is being buried today at the Vaults & Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos after the lying-in-state ceremony held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG City of David, Victoria Island.
Late ‘Deji is survived by an aged mother, Bintu Tinubu, wife, Yemisi and two children.
