As plans are being made to train and retrain referees, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finalized arrangements to install Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in regional stadiums across the country.

At the Nigeria Referees Association’s (NRA) National Elective Delegates Conference on Saturday in Ilorin, NFF confirmed the plan.

Gusau tasked the NRA leadership to build development plans, predict, organize, and make sure that the future of Nigerian referees is properly fostered and watered in order to the growth of the game.

Gusau expressed unwavering backing for the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) in its endeavor to transform the landscape of football in the nation.

He additionally noted that the introduction of VAR technology will be vital to the progression and success of the sport.
