NFF Launches Search for New Sand Eagles Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the opening of applications for the vacant coaching position of the Beach Soccer National Team, also known as the Sand Eagles.

According to the NFF, interested applicants can apply via the Federation’s website.

Candidates must have attended at least one beach soccer refresher course organized by the NFF, be well-versed in the evolving rules and dynamics of the game, and hold at least a CAF C Coaching License.

Furthermore, the NFF stated that “a candidate must have been actively involved in beach soccer activities over the past three years to be considered, while local and international playing experience could be a significant advantage.”

Applications will close at midnight on Friday, July 12, 2024.

The successful candidate will be announced shortly thereafter, as the Sand Eagles prepare for a two-leg Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Mauritania.
